Writing poetry, reading a good book, movies, quality time with friends and family, reality TV, fun night out, fun night in, travel, walks on the beach, a good game of Scrabble, helping others, dancing and singing in the car. Lol.
About Me
It seems a lot of changes have occurred in the last couple years. I'll attempt to make this brief but no promises. Lol. The things that have remained the same are the essentials of who I am as a person and woman. The core of who I am. Outgoing, I've been told a lot of fun, somewhat spunky and have been accused a time or two of being feisty..Lol, loving and caring, passionate and emotionally in touch and comfortable with my feelings. I am slow to anger, which wasn't always the case. But with age comes a certain amount of maturity and self control. However, and that's a big however, you don't want to get on my bad side. Nothing good ever comes of that. Lol. Hmm, it just occurred to me right now that may be the reason for the ever so baffling accusation of feistiness I've been accused of from time to time. Lol. Possibly the mystery has been solved. Haha. Anyhow, some very significant changes have taken place over the last couple years. It seems time really can be the great healer of all things. Even matters concerning the heart. I'm no longer hesitant about the possibility of a long-term, significant relationship. I am, however, extremely selective about who that may be with. Some might call it being picky. As for me, I call it wisdom based on past experiences that have proven to fail miserably. I'm not looking for another failed relationship under my belt. That's the last thing I want. I'm looking for my future and happy ending. Someone that will stand by me through thick and thin, as I will him. Someone who is capable and willing to give back the same amount of love that I will give him. A man with respect for not only himself but his lady, as well. An actual gentleman. Do those even exist anymore?? Fair question. I love a man that possesses all of the beautiful, sexy, masculine qualities that God gave him and intended him to use. Nothing is sexier than a man who acts like a man. A great personality is a huge plus and pretty much a must. Not into games or cocky, egotistical behavior. May work for some but not for me. I live alone. Well, with my doggie. My daughter is grown and on her own and it's time for me to venture out and see if I can find my forever. Wishing all of you the very best.
