I'm interested in meeting a partner that is willing to take the time to get to know my mind and not just my body. I am a hopeless romantic that would like to meet a someone that I can connect with on an emotional and intellectual level. I've been doing the single thing for a while now and I'm finally at a place in my life where I'm ready to open up my heart to someone special. I’m looking for someone that can stimulate me with interesting conversation and make me giggle into the late hours of the night with their engaging sense of humor. Someone that enjoys sharing text messages during the day while we are at work and having romantic dinners during the evening while listening to a gentle rainstorm. (I am quiet the romantic! Lol!) I'm definitely at a place in my life where I would enjoy meeting someone special. Hopefully, I will be able to meet someone that can relate and is looking for the same thing. I think that the, "getting to know you part" is one of the most exciting things about beginning a new relationship. I understand the importance of taking the time to get to know someone in every way and working toward a healthy friendship. Friendship is definitely key when trying to build a foundation for anything either individual is seeking to enhance. I find that we miss out on great things when we don't take things slowly and just enjoy the moment.
First Date
As far as what I like to do, I would love to experience things like art shows and going to the theater and maybe even go to a wine tasting event . I also enjoy b&w photography, movies (psychological thrillers), music, poetry and traveling. It doesn't really take a lot to keep me entertained. I would be satisfied cuddling up with a good book and going out to dinner every now and then. I don't do the club thing at all anymore. I prefer quiet and more intimate settings. Somewhere that I can just relax and enjoy spending time with my partner without being in the midst of a hundreds of people. Having a picnic in the middle of the floor with pizza and a bottle of Moscato is something that I actually find very romantic. It doesn't take a lot to make me happy. I truly enjoy the simple things in life. :o) I sincerely hope that it was refreshing to read my post and if this brief profile of a stranger seems interesting, please take a chance and drop me a line.
